LCW (calf skin)

Charles and Ray Eames spent many years experimenting with new processes for optimizing the way three-dimensionally moulded plywood fits the contours of the body. Today, LCW, with its moulded plywood seat, backrest and base, is once again available with a hide cover, as was the case when it was launched in 1946. Materials: moulded ash plywood; the seat and backrest sections connected to the base by means of rubber/metal elements (shock mounts). Price indicated is for a LCW chair in either natural ash (with calf skin brown/white) or black ash (with calf skin black/white).
