The Moomins are the central characters in a series of books and a comic strip by Finnish writer Tove Jansson. They are a family of Scandinavian trolls who are white and round in appearance, with large snouts that make them resemble hippopotamuses or capybara. The carefree and adventurous family live in their house in Moomin Valley with their many friends. The Arabia artist Tove Slotte-Elevant has designed the delightful Moomin tableware collection for children in keeping with the original drawings. The high quality porcelain mugs are made in Finland and are microwave and dishwasher safe.
